PS.upimposing应该是unimposing,汗...

roaming = move about without purpose or plan

unannounced = without warning

seconding = to attend, to promote, to endorse

upimposing just doesn't make sense here, suppose to be unimposing = lacking in impressiveness

'for the day' also means 'the whole day'
